November 12-16: PTPI's Global Youth Forum will be held in Denver, Colorado USA.
January 29-31, 2009: PTPI’s Board of Directors will meet in Jupiter, Florida USA for their Board of Directors Meeting. More information will be provided as the date draws nearer.
May 22-24, 2009: SAVE THE DATES for PTPI's first YG (Young Generation) Forum to take place in Kansas City, Missouri USA! This conference is for young adults between the ages of 18-25. Email invites will be sent soon. Please be sure PTPI has your most recent email address! Details will also be posted on www.ptpi.org.
June 3-4, 2009: PTPI’s Board of Directors Meeting will be held in conjunction with PTPI’s European Council Meeting in Montpelier, France. Details will be provided as we get closer to the date.
September 3-6, 2009: SAVE THE DATES for PTPI's Annual Board of Trustees Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada USA! More details will be announced as the meeting draws closer.
2010: PTPI's 19th Worldwide Conference will be held in the Phoenix area of Arizona USA. Congratulations to PTPI's Phoenix Arizona Chapter, which will serve as Conference Host Committee to one of PTPI's signature membership programs! Many thanks to the chapters that submitted proposals to host the conference. Exact conference dates will be announced when available.
AMERICAS
October 28: PTPI's Atlanta Chapter in Georgia USA will host its monthly meeting, a networking mixer at Mary Mac's Tea Room. Attendees will learn about committee volunteer opportunities and the chapter's 2009 plans.
November 1: PTPI's Delaware Chapter will hold its Families of the World: India Program at the Delaware Technical and Community College - Stanton Campus.
November 5: The PTPI Delaware Chapter's ongoing series, "Circles of Understanding," will focus on Taiwan. For more information, please contact Kathleen M. Meyer at PRC47@hotmail.com.
December 4: PTPI's San Diego Chapter will hold a joint Holiday Party with the Citizens Diplomacy Council of San Diego at Albert's Treehouse Restaurant located at the San Diego Zoo. The party theme will be "An African Holiday."
ASIA/PACIFIC RIM
December 16: PTPI Korea National Headquarters will hold its 26th Annual Awards Banquet and International Friendship Night at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul.
May 2009: PTPI will offer an Educational & Humanitarian Initiative to China. Destination cities include Beijing, Xian, Lijiang and Shanghai. Itinerary and other details will be available in December.
December 2009: PTPI will offer its first Educational & Humanitarian Initiative to Thailand and Cambodia! Details will be available in March 2009.
EUROPE
Regularly: PTPI's Brussels Chapter in Belgium organizes a variety of special events on a regular basis. Each Thursday, participants practice French-language speaking skills at Tables de conversation. Day excursions are also planned to several destinations. There is something for everyone as events are scheduled each month. Contact the chapter for details at ptpbelgique@skynet.be.
November 1: PTPI’s Berlin Chapter invites members and friends for a dinner in “Old Texas.” A second meeting at this location is scheduled for December 6.
November 4: PTPI’s Berlin Chapter will visit PTPI’s European Office to discuss recent programs and events.
December 1: PTPI’s Kiev Student Chapter in Ukraine will host a youth forum with the theme “Make Your Choice,” discussing healthy ways of living.
December 13: PTPI's Brussels Chapter will hold its annual Christmas Dinner Dance at the Hilton Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. For more information, please contact Christine Pairon at christine.pairon@skynet.be.
June 18-29, 2009: PTPI's Educational Mission to the Baltic States will visit Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Registration will open in January 2009.
MIDDLE EAST/AFRICA
March 26 - April 5, 2009: PTPI's Peace Camp will be held in Jordan. This scholarship program provides a safe environment where young adults from different nationalities and religions can meet to freely express their opinions and focus on group development. Peace Camp is free for selected participants. Students ages 16-19 may apply. The registration deadline is November 20. For details, visit www.ptpi.org.
